STC had a good time presenting our courses and new offerings with the Beijer Ref Academy and a Fire and Smoke Control course with AIRAH to the HVAC&R industry at the The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Building Services (ARBS) exhibition and conference in Melbourne. STC was in the final three for the Outstanding Industry Education and Training Award – sadly not the prize but we were winners being in Melbourne with the industry recognition of the work STC has done promoting nationally recognised training with flammable refrigerant training.

STC was also involved in a ground breaking research project with Deakin University Environmental Service Pod (ESP) – a heat pump that runs on a 48Volt DC from solar panels and internal battery – this unit can heat and cool rooms using modular radiant panels for heating and cooling.
