Canterbury Boys High School have started their trade skills journey with classes at Superior Training Centre – day one was an introduction and welcome by our Community Partner Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs NRL team business manager Glenn Cox. 10 students will complete a 7-week program to get hands on experience in trades training at the STC workshop in Ingleburn. This will include career advice and meeting employers. Next week STC will host Ryan Sutton – a current Bulldogs player who has a trade as an electrician. Ryan will talk with the students about the value of a trade career. STC now trains over 200 apprentices in electrotechnology electrician, air conditioning and refrigeration, and engineering fabrication trade.
