The course runs over 3 days of face-to-face training including practical assessments.

 

To successfully enrol in this unit, applicants must meet the following prerequisites and conditions:

 

Prerequisite

  • Completion of UEERA0053 Install, commission, service and maintain medium temperature systems is mandatory, which is part of the UEE32220 Certificate III in Air Conditioning Refrigeration, or equivalent.

Prerequisite or complete

UEECD0007 Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace

and 

UEERA0053 Install, commission, service and maintain medium temperature systems

Upon successful completion of the training and payment of fees, Superior Training Centre (STC) will issue a Statement of Attainment (SOA) for the units:

  • UEERA0005: Apply safety awareness and legal requirements for ammonia refrigerant.
  • UEERA0065: Repair and service ammonia refrigeration systems.
