Course Overview
This unit covers the safe disconnection and reconnection of LV electrical equipment in accordance with industry regulations and best practices.
Prerequisites
To enrol in this course, participants must have completed one of the following units:
- UEECD0007 – Apply work health and safety regulations, codes, and practices in the workplace, or
- UEENEEE101A – Apply Occupational Health and Safety regulations, codes, and practices in the workplace.
If you haven’t completed this prerequisite, we offer the unit for an additional $300, allowing you to meet the requirements before proceeding with the main training.

Practical Assessment Details
- Each student will receive an allocated time slot for practicals.
- The assessment duration is determined by the number of areas to be tested:
- 1 Area – 1.5 hours
- 2 Areas – 3 hours
- 3 Areas – 4 hours
- Time slots will be confirmed upon enrolment.
Pricing
- 1 Area: $1,300 AUD per technician
- 2 Areas: $1,550 AUD per technician
- 3 Areas: $1,800 AUD per technician
Important Note: Licensing
Superior Training Centre does not issue Disconnect & Reconnect licenses. Technicians should verify their eligibility for a Disconnect & Reconnect license by checking the NSW Fair Trading website before enrolling.
